I, Muzaffar Shaikh, am Compassionate Connection Nonviolent Communication Trainer living in Pune India. I am also developer, promoter, and chief author & editor of this website Compassion Work (compassion.work)
What inspires me to share skills & consciousness of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with fellow humans is the immense potential I have seen and see in NVC for individual & collective wellbeing.
I provide training, facilitation to seekers through workshops and personal sessions, online and in-person. Listening and counselling is also provided as needed.
I speak and facilitate in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
I got introduced to Nonviolent Communication around 2014 while I was holding some wondering about human connection as well as human conflicts.
I was sensing that while it serves to have love and intentions to serve, When it comes having connection with each other even having loving heart may not be enough. And how tragic it is when conflicts happen when people are trying to contribute to each others wellbeing, And instead of beauty in their giving being seen, tragically pain and conflicts happens.
And then in NVC I started seeing guidance and skills which empowers not only connections with each other, but also life-serving in individual and collective life.
